If you want to see the largest animal living in Asia, join us to the
Elephant Camp about 25 km west of Chiang Rai City. The camp is
situated up the River Kok,so we go there by Long-tail boat.
100 years ago there were more than 300,000 wild elephants in Thailand
and around 100 000 tame. Today there are about 1,000 wild and 2,000 in
captivity. So, if you want to see and ride an elephant in Thailand, you have
better hurry. By the way, did you know that a full-grown Asian elephant
can weigh up to 5.5 tons and become 70 years or older.
We will continue to the Hot Springs for a bath if you like and perhaps cook eggs.
There will be lunch by the beautiful river, and afterwards Long-tail boat back
to Chiang Rai. A lovely day full of experiences beyond the ordinary.

Elephant riding, fee Hot Springs and lunch.
